The Building Learning Foundations Toolkits for English and Mathematics provide extensive guidance on enabling all children to access the P1-3 curriculum. Look for examples in the Building Learning Foundations toolkits where you see these symbols, for English and Mathematics, respectively.
Unit 3 in Toolkit 2 for both English and Maths is dedicated to inclusive learning.
In order to support teachers, familiarise yourself with the content of these units. You will understand good practice and be better able to support the teachers in achieving it.
You can also get very valuable information on implementing inclusive education from two Rwanda Education Board publications: Training manual on special needs and inclusive education and Guide to Inclusive Education in Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Education. It is likely that both these publications are in the school. Try and locate them.
