to avoid this you have to use teaching aids that attract the learners for example if you use ICT tools, they may attract the students and help them ton acquire knowledge quickly, and let them do the practice themselves in what you use for teaching aids.

I can avoid creating boring materials by using by using ICT TOOLS that focus on the target, i.e that display and show clearly the content more quickly.

The slides  to be presented must be short so that they are read and understood easily

The presentation must be designed to capture the attention of the audience

to avoid boring materials in classroom as a teacher you need to have more funs in teaching for exampl:

  • discover new things together
  • review but don't repeat material
  • share your passions
  • replace lectures with coversations

USING ICT TO AVOID CREATING BORING CLASSROOM Firstly to better engage audience especially students not falling in a boring mood during the ongoing time time of the lesson, Actually professional teachers engage their students by using different methodologies to make them feel involved in the lesson. For more engagement in CBC (COMPETENCE BASED CURRICULUM) we often use ICT tools which play a great role in awaking students and participate in a lesson. The time when we are teaching we need to use presentation software that provide more engagement as we actual videos, pictures and maps whereby students will have curiosity of having a look at the pictures or videos of the situation that took place in the past. Moreover the use of presentation software raises the interaction among students and even with the teacher,. For example in the History when you talk about HITLER and BENITO MOUSSOLIN the students will be attentive for the videos and pictures as they ask more questions. Finally the use of ICT in teaching and learning activities creates a an interactive mood between the teacher and students.

In order to avoid creating boring materials, you must create meaningful materials which are e large enough to be seen by the students for whom they are used and the materials which stand to serve a useful purpose.

Moreover, your materials must be simple ,friendly, accurate, realistic, cheap and may be improvised. you are also advised to create informative materials which are to the mental level of the learners.

Lastly, make sure that your materials help in realization of stipulated learning objects and must be able to be used and can be used in many lessons and at different class levels. Do not forgetting that your materials supplement the teaching process but they do not replace the teacher.

If you follow these instructions, you will never create boring materials.

we can avoid boring materiel in teaching by using projector in order to avoid circulation in class

gives more time to do the research on line than in their books

use attractive tools: eg video, flashcard,cd card, and let them to practice themselves in your lesson

let the learners to share ideas by e mail, web, link but focus target in the lesson

to present their work designed

the teacher must be responsible to control the learners to avoid to enter in different webs or e mails

In CBC, long notes are discouraged. So we have to prepare short notes and use Power point in learning and teaching. Here few but key points are included in the slides and diagrams summarizing the course can be used. Moreover, students must be given short time for break where a teacher can give a simple physical exercise and so on.

Re: how do you avoid creating boring materials?

my point of view about how to avoid creating a boring materials is:

1. Use Graphics Instead of Text: Remember the goal for Keynote slides is not to present the information. It is to help you present the information

2. Don’t Let Your Underwear Show: Your notes are important and private. You’re underwear is not for public display. Don’t show the audience your notes. If you blast your audience with bullets they will read them ahead of you, zone out and get bored. It keeps you from having any surprises any secrets.

3. Kiss Your Audience: one of the best modern communicators, knows how to make things simple

4. 1 Minute Max: Don’t use one slide for 3 minutes when you can break it up into three one minute slides. An easy way to do this is keep your slides to one concept. Try not to ever spend more than a minute on any given slide. Keep the audience’s attention by keeping the slide fresh.

5. Keep your Bullets in Your Concealed Firearm: PowerPoint and Keynote both have excellent "presenter notes" sections that you can print or display on your laptop as you present. Like real bullets, digital bullets are ineffective and dangerous when they are out of place. Hitting a rifle round with a hammer might make a lot of noise but you won’t hit your target unless you "hide" your bullets in your gun. Keep your bullets out of site and you will find your presentations will become more interesting.

Finally In CBC, long notes are discouraged. So we have to prepare short notes and use Power point in learning and teaching. Here few but key points are included in the slides and diagrams summarizing the course can be used. Moreover, students must be given short time for break where a teacher can give a simple physical exercise and so on.

teaching ids especially done with ICT tools are very helpful in deepening understanding .

but if they are not well prepared they can bore students and hinder  teacher to get to the target. in my view the teaching material must be short and on target . the better that teaching materials should be in student interests . example you can use  a video instead of  using pictures or using pictures animated with favorite song...
