Hello Mr. Gilbert and other comrades i think ICT assessment tools may be as many as the ocean sand but it helps us to do/discover as well as updating ourselves in:

Finding things out—a student’s ability to select an appropriate source and assess the value of the information thus obtained.

Developing ideas and making things happen—for example, using ICT to measure, record, respond to, and control events.

thanks!

10 Digital Tools for Formative Assessment 1. Lino – A commonly used formative assessment method is admit tickets, where the students leaves a comment on a sticky note about the lesson as they leave the classroom. 2. . ZipGrade – ZipGrade is an app that is available on the iPad or iPhone. What it does is it corrects multiple choice tests just by scanning the answer sheet using the camera on either Apple device. 3. Popplet – Popplet can be described as a graphic organiser. It can be used by anyone who wants somewhere to jot down ideas and organise them visually into a mind map, graph or mood board. But for formative assessment, the mind mapping or brainstorming tool is particularly useful. 4. Socrative – Socrative, similar to Popplet, enables a student’s understanding of a topic to be visualised. You can create quizzes for the class to complete on any internet device, laptop, tablet or smartphone. 5. Stick Pick – This app is for iOS and Android devices and costs £1.98, which is a relatively low cost for an app that could make your life that bit easier. With Stick Pick you can set up an account and create as many classes as you need. Within your classes you enter the names of your students and these visually appear on sticks in soup cans. 6. Infuse Learning – Infuse Learning is a website that makes it extremely easy for teachers to track student understanding. 7. Kahoot – Kahoot is another website that encourages interaction with the class by using game-like quizzes. 8. Collaborize Classroom – This free tool combines a social media like approach with a discussion board. It is a safe, password-protected online community for students to continue their in-class discussion outside of the classroom. 9. EDpuzzel – EDpuzzle is a free and very user friendly video platform that teachers can use for formative assessments. 10. 10. Geddit – Asking the class to raise their hand if they understand a topic is a technique that teachers sometimes use to gauge understanding.

learning management systems (LMS) like Moodle that enable the management of question banks and items together with the administration and internet-based delivery of tests.

TAO is another such tool which provides an open architecture for computer-assisted test development and delivery, with the potential to respond to the whole range of evaluation needs.

Concerto-platform(R-based Adaptive Testing platform): Online Adaptive Testing Platform Concerto is a web based, adaptive testing platform for creating and running rich, dynamic tests.

E-Box: E-Box is a Technology Enabled Active Learning and Assessment platform. Apart from the basic LMS components like quizzes, assignments, lesson components, resource components etc, it has numerous activity components pertaining to technology and engineering concepts that could be used for design and analysis oriented learning.

HELLO fellow teachers! I think that all assessment tools are very important. however, both can not be used at the same time in any given assessment. It is up to the teacher to focus on the following issues before choosing which assessment tool to use:

1) The level of the learners

2) Their level of understanding

3) the way the learners are familiar with assessment tools

4) the content to be assessed

5) the objectives of assessment

Thks

Teachers should consider students with the special needs education to ensure that all students can use the assessment tools. Tools will vary depending on the subjects, the teachers and students’ ability and digital competence and the availability and accessibility of the tools.

The availability of ICT infrastructure should also play a vital role while choosing the assessment tool compared to the number of students in a classroom.

for this according to ICT infrastructure we have at my school, we can use, computers in lab one, in class we can use L3 materials, smartphones

Classtools : Several classtools of any kind

the ICT assessment tool which is used so far is computer assisted assessment. we often use the computer to assess student learning and performance.this can be used to cover all forms of assessments, whether summactive or formative delivered with the help of computer. computer assisted assessment helps students to discover whether they have learned what the educator intended and provide timely feedback on how best to teach a subject.

the ICT assessment tools that can be used so far are many as other said but some of them are computers and internet connection which can be easy way of interchanging questions and answers through an E - mail or a blog. in the computers, there are many software which can link the teacher and the students online to exchange questions and answer, so on my view computers and Internet connection are better than others.

ZipGrade – ZipGrade is an app that is available on the iPad or iPhone. What it does is it corrects multiple choice tests just by scanning the answer sheet using the camera on either Apple device. It can grade the whole class’s quizzes in minutes, saving valuable class time and providing results on what the students know, so the teacher can decide whether or not another day’s work is needed for the lesson. It provides results on the overview of the class as well as being able to see what questions individual students answered correctly or incorrectly. An advantage to this app is that students do not need to complete the quiz on an electronic device, as not all student have access to them, yet you do not have to spend time correcting them manually.
