taskTask #2: 

After watching the video, select a learner in your class who would benefit from having a Parent-Teacher Meeting and ask to meet with their parent(s)/carer(s). At the meeting, discuss any issues that you want to talk about with them. Ask them the following questions: 

  1. What do you think your child is doing well at home and at school?
  2. How do you feel about their progress?  
  3. What do you think your child needs to improve on, at school? 
  4. How can we work together to best support your child for the future so that they can continue to improve and progress? 

whatAfterwards, reflect on the following questions and share with your WhatsApp group: 

  1. Share the most important points from your meeting with the parent/guardian and learner.
  2. What worked well in the meeting? 
  3. What would you do differently next time to make a meeting with parents even more successful?
