Though the various form of CPD has already been introduced over the years, CPD is a new idea in Rwanda. Teachers, resource persons, and supervisors lack sufficient CPD experiences to give advice and suggestions when confronting problems. To address this, the National CPD problem-solving cycle is established to monitor and report problems and provide measures in a timely manner to drive sound CPD at schools, sectors, districts and national level. The figure below shows the conceptual image of the National Problem Solving Cycle.
