Provide script: The communication and collaboration between teachers, learners and parents, and among teachers and learners are key principles to support the teaching and learning process. How do teachers use mobile devices to facilitate teaching and learning process by helping students to access content and knowledge anywhere and anytime? The mobile devices are transforming the way we teach and learn. They increase learners’ access to information, support learning outside the classroom, facilitate self-directed learning, enable collaboration and skills sharing and promote equity through improved access to quality resources and teaching. Teachers will be able to design lesson plans, deliver lessons, share teaching resources and give assignments using mobile devices. The unit topics is structured as follows:
- Introduction to mobile devices for education
- Advantages and disadvantages of using mobile devices
- Control mechanisms to ensure responsible use of mobile devices in class
- Examples of good mobile device use in teaching and learning
