Though we are using ICT assessment tools like Quizzalie, Kahoot, Socrative, Formative, etc; they have pros and cons.
the pros are that:
- they facilitate the task (to make the task easy)
- they teach ICT skills
- they assess learners in the same way
- they increase time management skills
- etc
the pros are the following:
- many of the questions in the assignments are closed
- some of the tools are used when you only have internet access
- teachers are becoming lazy in setting and assessing learners because they use technological tools
- the current/ power is necessary to use computers that use those softwares
- multiple choice is dominant in the assessment
