Script : Flipped learning is a pedagogical approach in which the conventional notion of classroom-based learning is inverted, so that students are introduced to the learning material before class, with classroom time then being used to deepen understanding through discussion with peers and problem-solving activities facilitated ..The main objectives of this course is help teachers to apply pervasive education principles to lesson design,design lessons that use a‘flipped’ classroom and to implement the ‘flipped classroom’ approach to learning.As the outcome ,teachers will be able to Use digital tools to support online collaboration between students and members of the knowledge community.Can our teachers shift from traditional model to Flipped /pervasive education? The unit topics are:
1. Introduction to pervasive education.
2. Contrast ‘Flipped’ vs. traditional classrooms.
3. Advantages and disadvantages of pervasive education.
4. Flipped classroom approach to learning.
5. Strategies to design and implement flipped classroom lessons. "End of the script"
Session 1 :Introduction to pervasive education

Unit assessment:
Using a discussion forum , debate the pros and cons of pervasive education and the ‘flipped’ classroom approach and discuss why/why not it would work in your own context,
reflect on the discussion and then create a ‘flipped classroom’ lesson plan for a section of the curriculum you teach, implement the lesson plan at your class and reflect on how the lesson went, what worked and what did not . Write up the experience and upload your document for grading including a video as evidence of the experience.
