Group work is when learners work together to complete an activity. Depending on the activity, learners can be grouped with others of the same ability level or in a mixed ability group. All learners must participate and contribute their strengths to the group. It is important for the teacher to actively facilitate and monitor group work.

  1. How did it feel to work as a team, in a group?
  2. Share some ideas about how you will plan and evaluate group work in your own class.
