M3: Methodologies for using English as a Medium of Instruction for Arts, Humanities and Social Studies

This module is designed for teachers of Arts, Humanities and Social Studies at pre-primary, primary, and lower secondary levels. It aims to show you how to use various approaches, methods, and techniques that have proven to be effective when using English as a medium of instruction to teach your subjects. 


M2: Methodologies for using English as a Medium of Instruction for Sciences, Mathematics, and ICT subjects.

This module is designed for teachers of Science, Mathematics and ICT at pre-primary, primary and lower secondary school levels[J1] . It aims at guiding them in the use of various approaches and methods to teach Mathematics, Science and ICT effectively through English while  developing skills in this medium of instruction.


M1: Methodologies for Teaching English Language as a subject

This module entitled Methodologies for Teaching English Language as a subject, is designed for teachers of English as a subject from primary to secondary school levels. The other two modules designed are Methodology for using English as a medium of instruction for Sciences, Mathematics, and ICT subjects, and Methodology for using English as a Medium of Instruction for Social Sciences and Humanities subjects.

A training manual designed to accompany primary and secondary school teachers in their journey towards mastering English as the medium of instruction.

The manuals are designed for teachers learning English at beginner and intermediate levels to enable them to acquire and develop English language knowledge and skills. More specifically, it is geared to helping them use English for personal and professional needs in the Rwandan education system and consequently, it is not only meant to address their academic needs but also to enable them to use the language to talk about general topics, and to communicate conversantly with other speakers of English.
