UNIT 6: Summary

Group Work and Collaborative Learning

sumSummary

In this unit we talked about strategies for effective group work. Being able to collaborate is important for learning - as learners learn a lot from each other -  and it is a key life skill for a peaceful society. This skill is important in the classroom, in the family, in the workplace and socially. We are all connected!

We introduced strategies you can use to develop this skill in your classroom: Learning Teams, Think-Pair-Share and Peer Marking.

We would love to hear from you about how you found using these strategies and if you have other ideas about developing skills of collaboration.
