This short course, Education For Positive Peace (E4PP), is designed for pre-service and in-service teachers, TTC tutors, and headteachers in Rwanda. It contains units related to the Peace and Values Education cross-cutting issues in the Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC) including practical teaching tools related to behavior management, social skills, growth mindset, critical thinking, inclusion, and gender. The course was created by A Partner in Education (APIE) in collaboration with Rwanda Basic Education Board (REB), Aegis Trust, and the school leadership and teachers of Umubano Academy, with funding from The Lef Pillon Foundation and British and Foreign Schools Society.
