Summary

Effective positive behaviour management is the  most important aspect for successful learning in your classroom and school. Managing behaviour well will create an environment for excellent teaching and learning. By thinking about WHY learners behave in challenging and/or negative ways, the teacher can help them to find long-term solutions to the problems they face with their learning, and their lives in general. By using B4L approaches, teachers can help students to understand what is socially acceptable behaviour and how to make good choices. By using B4L teachers will start to enjoy their work more as they build great relationships with their learners in caring and empathetic ways.
