Summary

In this unit we have talked about gender equality. 

As teachers we have a responsibility to think about our ‘unconscious bias’ - our attitudes that are formed from our own experiences through life so far. We can use some conscious strategies like the ones in this unit, to develop our own attitudes and importantly we can also listen carefully to our learners when they ask questions or give us ideas that are about gender bias. This unit encourages us to think about what we can do to contribute to greater equality for all.
