Portfolio Item #02: Troubleshooting ICT Problems in your School Assignment
The most powerful troubleshooting technique is to isolate the problem to a specific computer component by trial-and-error. Use any program you feel comfortable with such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint etc. to create a presentation to suggest potential solutions to maintenance issues in your school. Make sure you cover the following aspects in your presentation:
- Identify common computer problems faced at your school
- What preventive, corrective, adaptive and perfective maintenance needs to be performed routinely at your school?
- Outline what you consider to be potential safety hazards at your school and what you think should be done to protect both users and equipment.
